At Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, we always strive to preserve your natural teeth. However, there are times when teeth are lost or must be extracted. Missing teeth can affect your daily life and make simple tasks difficult, such as eating and speaking. Lost teeth can also affect your self-confidence. We offer a variety of tooth replacement options to renew your smile, and for many patients, dentures are a great choice. What Are Dentures? Dentures are removable tooth replacements. Custom-made, personalized dentures can give you a full smile and help you eat and speak with ease. We offer a variety of denture options to meet the unique needs of our patients.
ull dentures can replace all of your teeth on the upper and lower arch. They are a full set of false (but natural-looking) teeth attached to a gum-colored base. With the help of a strong adhesive, they are secured to your gum line. Full dentures are an affordable way to get a full smile.
Overdentures are supported by natural teeth (if any) or dental implants. If there aren’t any natural teeth for the overdenture to connect to, dental implants will stabilize an overdenture, help prevent bone loss, and preserve your facial shape.
If you have some remaining teeth, we offer both removal and fixed partial dentures. Partial dentures are supported by your other teeth or dental implants that surround the space left from a missing tooth. Permanent partial dentures are bonded to dental crowns placed on either side of the space. Removable partial dentures have clasps that connect to the crowns, so they can be removed anytime.
Once our team recommends a denture option that fits your lifestyle, your oral health, and your budget, we’ll design a personalized treatment plan. The dentures process isn’t always the same for every patient. For example, if you’re getting overdentures, you may need a dental implant surgery to place implants.
The price of dentures depends on the type you choose, if you’re missing some or all of your teeth, any present bone loss, and more. At Riccobene Family Dentistry, our dedicated team will help you find the best option for your needs. We offer a variety of financial options to help you get a complete smile.
We can provide you with permanent dentures that are bonded to your remaining teeth or dental implants. Many patients who are missing several teeth in a row prefer this option.
Snap-on dentures are supported by dental implants. Unlike traditional dentures that use adhesives or suction to stay in place, dental implants create a stable foundation for dentures.
