Andrew Zhang, DDS

Dr. Andrew Zhang is a dedicated dental professional originally from Cary/Raleigh, North Carolina. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from the Gilling’s School of Public Health. His passion for helping others led him to continue his education at the prestigious University of Michigan, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Zhang’s journey into dentistry was inspired by his volunteer work at WakeSmiles, where he witnessed the daily challenges families faced with dental care. This experience motivated him to pursue a career focused on making a positive impact on people’s lives through dental health.

A graduate of the #1 ranked dental school in the United States, Dr. Zhang is skilled in a wide range of procedures, including restorations, cores and crowns, anterior and premolar root canal treatments, dentures, removable partial dentures (RPD), and extractions. He is also certified in sedation dentistry, ensuring his patients experience the highest level of comfort during treatment.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Zhang is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys biking, hiking, and camping. He also has a passion for cooking, believing that food is a window into different cultures. To unwind, he can often be found in the gym lifting weights or participating in CrossFit. Dr. Zhang is proud to be the first dentist in his family and continues to give back through volunteering at WakeSmiles and the Mission of Mercy (MOM) Clinics.
