Dr. Qureshi, DMD

Dr. Mehveen Qureshi was born and raised in New York. She attended Cedar Crest College for her undergraduate degree and Case Western Reserve University for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During dental school, Dr. Qureshi discovered her passion for helping children and conducted a research study on social disparities in children's oral health, which won her the Pierre Fauchard Award. Dr. Qureshi completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Cohen Children’s Medical Center, gaining expertise in treating patients with complex medical histories, special health care needs, and emergency trauma cases.

A Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, Dr. Qureshi enjoys playing tennis, painting, baking, reading, and spending the day on the beach in her free time. A lifelong New York Giants and Rangers fan, she is excited to move from Long Island to The Triangle to be close to her family!
