Dr. Caputo is a triad native that graduated from North Davidson High School in 1991. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University before completing dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Twenty years of experience in dentistry has taught Dr. Caputo the importance of building trust between him and his patients. He prioritizes meaningful relationships with his patients and the team he works with, because it takes the entire team to provide excellent dental care. His life experiences help him to relate to so many on many different levels. His other professional interests over the years have been restorative work, such as crowns, and creating the perfect denture. More recently, however, he has been enhancing his skills with bone grafting and placing implants, as this seems to be the wave of the future of excellence in dentistry.
When Dr. Caputo isn’t working, you will find him spending time with his wife, children and two fur babies. He also loves getting his hands dirty in the garden. He is in awe of the symmetries between life and gardening. It is both physical and spiritual. You may find him spending a quiet, cold morning in the woods hunting. However, his absolute favorite pastime would be saltwater fishing….there is nothing better than dropping a line in the water and coming home with dinner!
