After growing up in many places throughout the U.S. and overseas, Dr. Garretson graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Chemistry. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
Following dental school, he worked in a variety of clinical settings for well over a decade before joining the Riccobene dental family. His ongoing educational focus continues to be in the areas of endodontics and surgical procedures including extractions, bone grafting, soft tissue procedures and implant placement and restoration.
He enjoys restoring function and esthetics with the latest technology and techniques including 3D guided and minimally invasive implant surgery and restorative approaches including dental implants. Driven by a passion to offer people personalized solutions, he also provides a wide range of comprehensive care from preventative procedures to root canals and full mouth rehabilitation.
Outside of the office, you might find him soaking in the outdoors while cycling and hiking. You may also see him on occasion performing in areas bands as a banjo player and singer.
