Marina Iskander, DDS

Dr. Marina Iskander was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC. Goldsboro is her home. She attended UNC Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate education and dental school.

Dr. Iskander knew she wanted to be a dentist since high school. The ability to help and touch people's lives as a dentist is unparalleled to her. Dentistry allows her to help people in her community by enhancing oral health and providing a beautiful smile.

She has spent the last 8 years at UNC Chapel Hill and is a Tar Heel through and through. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and then had the privilege to attend UNC Dental School. It was a great experience, and she was given the opportunity to treat a diverse population of patients and be a part of several volunteer-based organizations.

Dr. Iskander is the oldest of four and grew up in Goldsboro, NC. Being with family is very important to her. She has lived in North Carolina her whole life and is a proud Tar Heel. At UNC Chapel Hill, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology, which has given her the skills to manage and build rapport with patients. Her faith as a Coptic Orthodox Christian is a big part of who she is and drives her to help others. Dr. Iskander is passionate about helping others enhance their quality of life through dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Marina enjoys dance and tennis.
