Dr. Nicole Williams, a Raleigh native, began her undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University and later transferred to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She continued her education at UNC Chapel Hill Dental School, earning her DDS.
Growing up, Dr. Williams’ pediatric dentist was a family friend that she grew close to. Always excited to visit the dentist, she regularly asked questions and was interested in her surroundings. When she was 11 years old, Dr. Williams had braces and was fascinated (she would frequently remove her own wires if a bracket popped loose, much to the dismay of her orthodontist). Her passion for dentistry grew when she obtained part-time jobs in dental practices during high school and college.
Dr. Williams truly appreciates settling patient fears and creating a professional, yet fun environment for both patients and staff. She enjoys volunteering for Military Readiness screenings, childhood dental screenings, and with preschoolers to spread dental awareness.
When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Williams spending time with her family, including her husband and 3 boys – their active participation in local sporting activities keeps them busy. She also enjoys traveling, entertaining, baking cakes, reading, and gardening.
