Sara Morgan, DDS, MS

Dr. Sara Marcela Morgan was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia where she initially trained and received her dental and orthodontic degrees. During a fortuitous trip to Chicago in 2002, Dr. Morgan fell in love and later married her husband J.P. In 2003, after permanently moving to the area.

After learning English and adjusting to life in the United States, Dr. Morgan was admitted into the International Dental Program at the University of Illinois in Chicago where she successfully obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She also continued her studies in the University of Illinois at Chicago's graduate residency program in Orthodontics where she received a Certificate in Orthodontics as well as M.S (Masters in Sciences) in the Oral Sciences. In 2010, Dr. Morgan became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest clinical recognition in the Orthodontic Community, which she has recently re-credentialed through 2030.

Dr. Morgan's extensive training, both here and abroad, have afforded her the unique opportunity to work with several of the most highly regarded and talented specialists in the Orthodontic field. From diagnosis, treatment planning, to patient care, Dr. Morgan's experiences, in both academic and clinical environments, have provided her with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the best the Orthodontic field has to offer.

In 2020, Dr. Morgan, her two young daughters and husband relocated to North Carolina with great excitement. They have immensely enjoyed their new life here. From the kindness of the people, to the abundance of gorgeous nature to the beautiful year-round weather. They love outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and going to the beach. Dr. Morgan is excited to continue her professional commitment of delivering the highest standard of care to each patient in this amazing community.
